Spy and Sentry Ratings Calculation

There are a few factors that you should consider when computing your spy or sentry rating. First, know if your race has a covert (spy/sentry) bonus. For example, Elves have 35% spy bonus, the Undead race has 35% sentry bonus, and Humans have 15% spy bonus. The only variation for the spy/sentry calculations for the races is the spy/sentry "bonus" part. Here's how to calculate.

The spy/sentry formula is:

M x [S + (n1 x N1) + (n2 x N2) + (n3 x N3)...] x R

where:

M = covert level multiplier
S = number of spies/sentries without tools
n1 = total number of 1st type of spy/sentry tools
N1 = strength of 1st type of spy/sentry tool
n2 = total number of 2nd type of spy/sentry tools
N2 = strength of 2nd type of spy/sentry tool
n3 = etc..
N3 = etc..
R = race multiplier for spy/sentry

Race multipliers:

Elves = 1.35 for spy
Undead = 1.35 for sentry
Humans = 1.15 for spy
Orcs = 1 for either spy or sentry
Dwarves = 1 for either spy or sentry

Examples:

1. My race is Elves. I have 500 spies, 100 of which hold 100 nunchakus, 50 of which hold 50 grappling hooks, and 25 of which hold 25 cloaks. The rest of the 325 spies do not hold any spy tool. I have a level 8 covert level. I want to know my spy rating.

Computation

M x [S + (n1 x N1) + (n2 x N2) + (n3 x N3)] x R
=256 x [325 + (100 x 100) + (50 x 30) + (25 x 15)] x 1.35
=256 x [325 + 10,000 + 1,500 + 375] x 1.35
=256 x [12,200] x 1.35
=3,123,200 x 1.35
=4,216,320

My spy rating is 4,216,320.

2. My race is Humans. I have 630 spies, 90 of which hold 90 nunchakus, 35 of which hold 35 cloaks. The rest of the 505 spies do not hold any spy tool. I have a level 7 covert level. I want to know my spy rating.

Computation

M x [S + (n1 x N1) + (n2 x N2)] x R
=128 x [505 + (90 x 100) + (35 x 15)] x 1.15
=128 x [505 + (9,000) + (525)] x 1.15
=128 x [10,030] x 1.15
=1,476,416

My spy rating is 1,476,416.

3. My race is Undead. I have 628 sentries, 67 of which hold 67 lookout towers, 34 of which hold guard dogs. The rest of the 527 sentries do not hold any sentry tool. I have a level 9 covert level. I want to know my sentry rating.

Computation

M x [S + (n1 x N1) + (n2 x N2)] x R
=512 x [527 + (67 x 60) + (34 x 30)] x 1.35
=512 x [527 + (4,020) + (1,020)] x 1.35
=512 x [5,567] x 1.35
=2,850,304 x 1.35
=3,847,910.4
