KoC Morale

KoC kings of chaos Morale
I've got a few Kings of Chaos players asking questions like "what does morale do?" or "how do I increase my morale?" For starters, morale in KoC Age X or Age 10 is the same as click credits which are obviously the credits you receive for clicking on the recruit links of other players. Basically, you can't increase your morale by clicking on your own unique link although it can increase the number of soldiers up to 5 (because you can only click on your link for a maximum of 5 times; 1 click equals to 1 additional soldier). Here are a few other things about "morale" in Kings of Chaos/Koc.

  1. You basically have to go to the recruit page by clicking on the recruit tab at the left side of your KoC page for you to be able to click on other players' links. Once you're already there, you have to click on the numbers you see OR you have to type-in the number in the small text-box just below the page. This will increase your morale.

  2. If you have, say, 1000 morale, you also have 1000 click credits. However, be reminded that it does not mean you'll be having 1000 soldiers immediately. Click credits (or morale) only means that you can expect other players to click on your recruit link 1000 times or even more, but it may take a while. You may get 1000 soldiers in the end from the 1000 morale/click credits you have, but believe me when I say it may take weeks.

  3. If you have a negative morale, it does not mean you won't be receiving click credits any longer. You might still get a few clicks and, therefore, soldiers here and there every once in a while.

  4. Morale is not included in the computation for your rank. Regardless of whether you have thousands of morale or not, your rank is still computed according to your Strike Action, Defense Action, Spy and Sentry Ratings in comparison to those of other players.

Kings of Chaos (KoC) Tools

I've added two Kings of Chaos (KoC) Tools. One enables you to calculate or compute your spy rating while the other enables you to compute your income or gold (TBG). The TBG tool can be found at BOTTOM of every page in this website. The Spy/Sentry Calculator can be accessed by clicking on the blue image at the upper right side of this website.

Several reminders, though. Make sure you remove commas in your numbers. Instead of "5,000" type "5000" without the comma. As for the spy rating calculator/simulator, the assumption is that you have more spies than the total number of spy tools you have. Make sure that you select the right "race" since elves and humans have spy bonuses, 35% and 15% respectively. Continue reading here.

How to Get More Gold or Income in Kings of Chaos (Koc)

kings of chaos how to get more gold income
Income in Kings of Chaos (KoC) is comonly referred to as TBG or Turn-Based Gold. For the complete list of KoC terms, you can follow the link HERE. So what are the ways to get more income in KoC? Well, there can only be one.

And that is by getting MORE soldiers. There are at least three ways to achieve this.

  1. Upgrade the level of your Unit Production (UP). Your unit production level, by default, is 0 soldiers per 24 hours. That means you don't get any new soldier per day. You can, however, increase this by upgrading your unit production. You can follow this link to see the list of Unit Production upgrades available.

  2. Each time you click your recruit link, you gain 1 soldier. You can click your recruit link for up to 5 times per 24 hours. Meaning, you can get 5 soldiers at most per 24 hours by simply clicking on your recruit link. Your recruit link can be found at the bottom of your command center page.

  3. By using the in-game recruiter, you can click on other players' links. In effect, you get higher morale. The higher your morale, the more click credits on your recruit link you get which, hopefully, will get you more soldiers at the end of the day. The KoC in-game recruiter can be found in the recruit tab on the left side of your KoC page.

In essence, the more soldiers you have means the more income (gold) you make. Soldiers are the gold-producing units in the game with the exception, of course, of mercenaries. Take note, though, that trained soldiers get more income than untrained soldiers and spies/sentries. Spies/sentries produce the least amount of gold. You get gold once every 30 minutes.

KoC Sab Immunity

It is possible to gain sab immunity in Kings of Chaos Age X. There is a way for you on how not to be sabotaged. You can be immune from sabotage if the following condition are met:

The gold worth of the least strongest weapon you have in your armory is less than 0.5% of the total gold worth of all the weapons in your armory.

*The basic premise here is that you can only sabotage 1/200th of the total gold worth of your target's armory per turn.

Therefore, if your target has 100 Blackpowder Missiles (BPMs), 50 Invisibility Shields (IS), 10 Nunchakus (N) and 10 Lookout Towers (LTs) in your armory (assuming these are the only weapons in the target's armory):

100 BPMs x 637,500 gold per BPM = 63,750,000 gold
50 IS x 562,500 gold per IS = 28,125,000 gold
10 N x 435,000 gold per N = 4,350,000 gold
10 LTs x 300,000 gold per LT = 3,000,000 gold

Total gold worth of armory = 99,225,000 gold

*Note that the gold value to be used is the resell value of the weapons since the resell value is the actual value for each weapons after being purchased.

Since you can only sabotage 1/200th of the total gold worth of the target's armory per turn:

1/200th of 99,225,000 gold = 496,125 gold

Thus, you can only sabotage weapons in your target's armory that have a worth (or a combined total) of 496,125 gold and LOWER per turn.

From the example above, you can only sabotage either 1 Lookout Tower OR 1 Nunchaku of the target's armory per turn since the gold worth of 1 LT is 300,000 gold while the gold worth of 1 Nunchaku is 435,000 gold, both of which are less than the limit of 496,125 gold.

NOW, to gain SAB IMMUNITY:

The total worth of your armory should be 59,700,000 gold at the MOST (assuming you only intend to keep the strongest weapon for each type, meaning BPMs for attack, IS for defense, Nunchakus for spy and LTs for sentry). 1/200th of your armory's value should be at least less 299,999 gold and nothing more since 299,999 gold is LESS THAN the worth of 1 LT.

If, on the other hand, you have other weaker types of weapons such as knives or sticks, you should include them in computing the total gold worth of your armory. Remember, you can only sabotage 1/200th of the total gold value of the target's armory. Meaning, you can NOT sabotage 1/199th of the total gold value of the target's armory.

For guidance, you can view the complete list of the resell values of all the weapons and tools in this page.

And REMEMBER, the computation used here is just for ONE turn per sab attempt.

KoC Mercenaries

kings of chaos mercenariesMercenaries in Kings of Chaos do not give you gold. However, they can save you a lot of soldiers, either defense or attack, since mercenaries are the ones that die first in battle, followed by untrained soldiers, and finally trained soldiers. Although they cost thousands of gold per mercenary depending on whether you purchase them as trained or untrained, the fact that mercenaries save you soldiers means that you save more gold-producing units. Take note, though, that you can not always buy mercenaries. The availability of these units depend on the total size of your army. Remember, you may have the gold to buy yourself a defense mercenary, for instance, it does not always mean there are available units for you to buy.
kings of chaos mercenaries
One tip: if you always use your attack turns, focus on buying attack mercenaries and training your untrained soldiers into defense soldiers. That way, you won't be losing much of your gold-producing trained attack soldiers. On the other hand, if you rarely use your attack turns and you're more of the defense-type, focus on buying defense mercenaries and training your untrained soldiers into attack soldiers.

In case you're wondering, there are no spy/sentry mercenaries. So there you go.
