Here's the man behind this blogsite.
Splice created this blogsite because he has nothing else to do other than play KoC. Well, some others have told him to get a life, a real one at that. But hell does he care.
But seriously, the author has been around playing KoC since Age 2. From Ages 3 to 6, I played under the name SAB_MI for a few ages with an Elf account. I chose that race because I loved to spy around, sab around notwithstanding. I was never a ranker. I just played the game for fun.
I remember in Age 4 I used the name MI_SPY. Stats HERE
In Age X (or 10, as some others would have it), I tried the Undead race since I wasn't able to play from the middle part of Age 7 until Age 9. I managed to try the in-game recruiter as well, and boy was it fast. Too darn fast. But hey, it's a free game!
I was a part of an alliance in KoC composed largely of Filipino players. It was called "Tribu ni Lapu-Lapu" or TLL. And to this day I think I still am pretty much a part of the family.

Hi, the most important concern to me is "HOW DO YOU GET A FAST START AT THE BEGINNING OF AN AGE" ? Do you 1) use your initial gold to buy troop production, as a source of more gold early on.
2) concentrate on spy and sentry
3) protect what gold you get by building your defense first.
I suppose the variable that you need to know is, ELVES
The best thing to do at the start of the age is to increase the number of soldiers as fast as possible. This will give you higher income that you can spend to build your defenses, both defense weapons and sentry tools. The idea is to build your defenses while you're waiting for your attack turns to reach 200+. By the time you have plenty of turns, say 200, the next best thing to do is to train down your total fighting force (retrain them into spies) as much as the number of weapons that you have, seeing to it that each soldier holds a weapon. An important tip is to train your soldiers ALL to ATTACK soldiers. As for defense, buy DEFENSE Mercenaries instead. Make sure that you buy your defense mercenaries before you train down your total fighting force.
